What a Creator Network actually is

TikTok runs a partner programme for LIVE. Rather than supporting every LIVE creator directly, TikTok works with vetted agencies — Creator Networks, sometimes called LIVE agencies — that take on the day-to-day work of finding creators, training them, and helping them build a sustainable LIVE presence.

The network is the layer between a creator and a platform that cannot realistically coach millions of people one at a time. A good one behaves like a coach and an analyst. A bad one behaves like a mailing list.

How the money works

This is the part creators most often get wrong, usually because someone impersonating an agency has told them otherwise.

Viewers send gifts during a LIVE. Those gifts become diamonds in the creator's account, and diamonds convert to earnings through TikTok — directly to the creator. A Creator Network does not sit between the creator and that money, does not take a cut of it, and does not need the creator to pay a fee, a deposit, or a "verification" charge to join.

The network is compensated by TikTok, separately, based on how the creators it manages perform overall. The incentives line up: the network only does well when its creators do well. That is the whole design.

How you join one

Joining happens inside TikTok, not on an agency's website. The normal path is: you apply through an invite link the network gives you, TikTok reviews your account against its own eligibility rules, and if you are approved you receive an invitation to the network which you accept in the TikTok app under Creator tools › LIVE Center › Creator Network Center.

Because the acceptance step happens on TikTok's side, you can always verify what you are joining before you agree to it. If anyone asks you to skip that step, that is the signal to stop.

What the network gets out of it

TikTok evaluates Creator Networks on the activity, quality and compliance of the creators they manage. Networks in good standing may be given additional opportunities to pass on to their creators — campaigns, programmes, early features, training, and more platform support.

That evaluation is why networks care about consistency, and why most set minimum activity expectations. It is not busywork; a network's standing is built out of its creators' streaming records.

No. Joining a Creator Network is free. The network is compensated by TikTok separately, not by the creator. Any agency asking a creator to pay a joining fee, a deposit, or a verification charge is not operating the way the programme works.

Does a Creator Network take a percentage of my diamonds?

No. Diamond earnings go from TikTok to the creator. The network is not in that transaction and does not take a cut of it.

Not quite. A Creator Network is specific to TikTok LIVE and is joined through TikTok's own invite system rather than through an off-platform management contract. Its job is LIVE performance support: coaching, data, campaigns and training.

Can I leave a Creator Network?

Yes. Network membership is managed inside TikTok, and creators are not locked into a network they do not want to be part of. Terms vary by network, so ask before you accept an invite.
